Buying A Home In 9 steps
1. Questionnaire
We created a questionnaire that’s designed to be thought-provoking, help us get to know you, and help you consider your priorities for an upstate home.
2. Match
Next, we'll use your questionnaire responses to match you with a dedicated buyer’s agent. They might be a great fit cause of where they live or something specific about your search!
3. Consultation
Your agent will reach out to schedule a call where you’ll refine your search criteria together, talk about potential locations, and answer any and all questions about the process.
4. Search
Your agent will send you homes – sometimes ones that you’d never think of touring, but that they intuit could be perfect. Keep an open mind because we often find a match on the first outing!
5. Offer
We’ve developed specific strategies to get your offer to the front of the line that don’t involve just paying more or switching to 100% cash – although those help :)
6. Inspection
You’ll get a number of recommendations from carefully vetted inspectors who should be able to walk you through this super thorough process with clarity and ease.
7. Contract
At this point your attorney (we have great recs there also!) and your dedicated Transaction Coordinator from our team take the lead on the process – with your agent also staying in close touch throughout.
8. Closing
We’ll get you prepped for closing, go to the walkthrough with you, and do everything we can to set you up for success. (Pro tip: download our app to connect with lots of other homeowners!!)
9. Stay in touch
We love our clients and see our support role as lasting well beyond closing, so you’ll have an open-door policy for anything you need – and hopefully, we’ll see you at events, restaurants, or your new home!
