Your listing agent will help you find the best local craftspeople to fix things up before listing (download our app to crowdsource vendors or sell items you don’t need!). Showing the house clean, fresh, and with pared-down furnishings goes a long way to getting you top dollar.
We tailor a unique marketing strategy to each property's characteristics, doing what we believe will be best to sell it. Once your house is ready, our photographer will take magazine-quality photos, and we do virtual staging to help buyers envision their lives there.
The Upstate Curious Team's goal is always to get you multiple offers so you get the highest price, and have backups ready to go. We’ll set you up with a secure digital account to approve showings, and keep you 100% in the loop on all feedback and activity (online and off) throughout this period.
As offers start to come in, we’ll help you sort through the various conditions, pros/cons, and negotiate till you’re happy with the results. Our advice will always be based on your specific sale goals, whether you need to move quickly or focus on the highest number.
Buyers will in bring their own home inspector — hence fixes before listing. ;) After inspection, there may be some requests to negotiate via your agent. You’ll also meet your Transaction Coordinator at this point, who will work with your agent at every step of the closing process.
Your attorney (we have recs if you need someone!) will draft the contract and hold the deposit in escrow. At this point, you’re just waiting for the buyers to get their financing in order (if applicable) and for the municipal and title searches to be completed.
Your attorney will reach out to schedule the closing, and we’ll help make sure you have everything done that you’ve agreed to in negotiations (small fixes, leaving furniture, etc.). We’ll try to make this last stretch as easy as possible for you!
