The Town of Hunter, on the southern edge of Greene County, actually contains two villages: Hunter and Tannersville, both of which are adorable little towns a few mins apart from each other.
Here are some of my Tannersville tips:
One of my all-time favorite bakers, Shandaken Bake, just opened their own brick-and-mortar shop right on Main Street! Their chubby squirrel is a revelation!
I haven't tried Tabla yet myself, but have heard so many great things about their delicious-looking Mediterranean small plates that it’s definitely on my list.
Sundry is a new-ish shop (perchance owned by one of our client-friends with truly excellent taste ) with perfectly curated – and mostly locally made – home goods and gifts.
Mama's Boys might arguably serve the best burgers in the Catskills, but I’m all about their yummy frozen custard
Tannersville is also home to the renowned Deer Mountain Inn – and their can’t-miss restaurant is open to the public!
