I’m a NY native: after graduating from Penn State University, I lived in Manhattan for 10 years and then Fort Greene, Brooklyn for another decade.
I have 20+ years of experience in event planning and production, for the likes of the prestigious James Beard Awards, the US Open Tennis Championships, and Fashion Week events in NY, Berlin, and Australia. Client service is what I have worked on throughout my entire career, and I believe that building a positive working relationship is the most important aspect of working with people in any industry.
My family roots are in the Catskills: my great-grandparents owned Green’s Mansion, a hotel in Youngsville, Sullivan County, and I still have family living in Youngsville, who own an antique store on Rte. 52. I started visiting the Catskills more often as an adult when a friend bought a house in Athens, NY in 2000, and then another friend bought in Germantown, NY soon after – that’s when my love for the Catskills really blossomed! What do I love about it? Exploring and wandering to new areas, firepits, farmers markets, beautiful drives, hikes, swimming holes, waterfalls, mountain views, water views, and so much more.
Finally, I purchased a home to call my own in Cairo/Leeds in 2017 — specifically choosing to be right in between the mountains and the Hudson River, and not too far from friends.
And most importantly, I’m a dog mom to Cocoa! :)
